 This is an 'artistic' campaign executed by TBWA\RAAD Dubai for Carnevale Restaurant at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Even if we don’t see it, pedophiles might be causing real harm. It’s when the lights go out, that most child abuse occurs, as stated by the recent campaign by EuroRSCG Brazil for CERCA (Reference Center Against Child Abuse), on the National Day Against Child an Youth Sexual Abuse (18th May). The first image on the print ads shows a candid picture with the quote “Turn off the lights and help us to end the fear od the dark that Bia has”. As we we turn off the lights, the second image reveals a cruel truth about child abuse: “Pedophilia . You may not see it, but it might be happening”. The print ads use fluorescent ink to visualize the second image. More versions below. |

Animal Liberation in Australia recently used images relating to cosmetics in a campaign protesting the use of animals in testing. “Every year 6 million animals are killed from cosmetic testing. Please boycott animal-tested products.” A mascara brush becomes a hypodermic needle. Lipstick is placed inside a bullet case. A make up compact becomes a lethal trap. |

Power Horse energy drink in New Zealand is being promoted as the catalyst of resistance, for people who have the courage to step up against conformity. In an old people’s home, in a prison and in a kindergarten, a vending machine of Power Horse is being installed, with the phrase “This could get ugly”. |
